Miller Moss and the USC Trojans scored a huge come-from-behind win Sunday night against LSU. Moss and the Trojans surprised the Tigers and the nation with a last-second 27-20 victory. It might be Week 1, but the win might impact both teams’ expectations this coming year, especially after the result and how we got there.

Former Southern Cal star Caleb Williams was left impressed with Sunday night’s proceedings.

“Mossy you did yo thing playa,” Williams posted on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner was fired up after seeing the Trojans’ victory over LSU as well.

Williams will officially debut under center with the Chicago Bears next Sunday. The Bears will open the 2024 National Football League regular season with a new-look offense led by Williams, fellow rookie Rome Odunze, and Keenan Allen. 2023’s leading receiver, D.J. Moore, is also around, giving the Bears a potentially dynamic offense.

USC, meanwhile, has new expectations after starting off 1-0. The Trojans did look quite good on both sides of the ball, which was a development that would impact even the strongest of naysayers and pessimists. We’ll see how things turn out for the Trojans, but for now, it’s all smiles in Los Angeles.
