The bitterness between Ohio State and Michigan reared its head again on Saturday. Fortunately for everybody, it was shown in a humorous and playful way. Though it might depend on who you ask.

The Ohio State Marching Band performed during the Buckeyes’ rout of the Purdue Boilermakers. The Buckeyes finished the Boilermakers off 45-0 by the game’s end.

During that performance, the Buckeyes marching band formed the shape of a bear, as they “went to the zoo.”

Then that bear appeared to… well, go to the bathroom. Directly on a Michigan logo. No, seriously.

Some fans quickly noticed the hilarious imagery.

When it comes to rivalries, Ohio State-Michigan doesn’t get much better than this one. This particular installment of the rivalry is admittedly pretty humorous. It’s playful, nobody’s hurt, and it’s relatively innocuous.

Michigan has defeated the Buckeyes three years in a row. OSU hopes to end that losing streak to their rivals later this November. The Buckeyes have huge aspirations this season, but like always, they might not be achieved without a win over rival Michigan. The Game is one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports, and in 2024, it’s still showing why. Even in unique ways like the ones shown on Saturday.
