The Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Iowa Hawkeyes this Saturday in their conference home opener at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes will look to improve to 5-0 and 2-0 in Big Ten play. Iowa will look to improve to 4-1 and 2-0 in Big Ten play if they pull off the upset.
On Wednesday, Ohio State posted a video on social media revealing that they would be wearing their all-gray jerseys for Saturday afternoon’s showdown against the Hawkeyes.

This will be Ohio State’s second time wearing these uniforms. The school debuted the new look last November for their game against the Michigan State Spartans, which they won 38-3 to improve to 10-0 on the season.
According to the school, Ohio State has worn alternate uniforms 34 times since 2009, 27-7, including 16-2, while wearing alternates at Ohio Stadium.
Ohio Stadium has been a historically challenging venue for Big Ten teams to win at, and it’s no different for Iowa. The Buckeyes have played Iowa 22 times in Columbus since 1961 and are 20-2 in those games.
Iowa’s last win at Ohio Stadium came on November 2, 1991, when the Hawkeyes escaped Columbus with a 16-9 victory. However, Iowa’s last overall win against the Buckeyes came on November 4, 2017, when they rolled to a dominant 55-24 win in Iowa City.
