The Tennessee Volunteers are hot on the recruiting trail. After they landed the top offensive tackle in the Class of 2024, the Volunteers followed that up with a huge recruiting victory. Tennessee flipped an elite commit away from longtime rival Alabama on Sunday.
Head coach Josh Heupel and the Volunteers flipped four-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon from the Crimson Tide to the Orange and White.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett noted that Harmon was committed to Alabama since April.

Tennessee’s hot recruiting continues. This weekend, they just vaulted into the Top 10 nationally for the Class of 2025. They now rank 6th in the nation and 4th in the competitive Southeastern Conference. They’ve been trending up after previously ranking 13th prior to David Sanders Jr.’s commitment.
The Vols are hoping to turn this momentum into something tangible. Tennessee hasn’t appeared in the SEC Championship Game in over 15 years and hasn’t regained its prominence from the late 1990s. Heupel and his recruiting wins have Tennessee fans thinking they’re just around the corner.
