The Tennessee Volunteers didn’t look far for their latest blue-chip commit.
Tennessee landed four-star wide receiver Tyreek King, a Knoxville native, on Halloween. This proved quite the treat for the Vols and their fans, who got to boast over another talented player rolling into the orange and white in 2026.
“The 5’11 175 WR from Knoxville, TN chose the Vols over LSU, Alabama, & Texas A&M,” recruiting reporter Hayes Fawcett added.

King is the fifth commitment in Tennessee’s Class of 2026. Four of the commits thus far are blue-chippers, rated four stars or above. The prize of the 2026 class for Tennessee thus far is five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon. With King’s commitment, Brandon now has an elite talent to throw the ball to right away.
The sky is obviously the limit for both King and Brandon in Josh Heupel’s offense. Tennessee has had one of the nation’s top offenses over the past few years under Heupel. It’s that more exciting when you consider the prospect of new, potentially even more talented players coming into the fold. Especially when, in King’s case, it’s someone from right in town.
Tennessee’s 2026 recruiting class now ranks 4th in the nation and 2nd in the competitive Southeastern Conference.
Vol fans couldn’t contain their excitement after the news emerged.
Definitely a treat for Tennessee this Halloween.
One of the top receivers in 2026 stays home🧡
