Colorado Buffaloes superstar Travis Hunter did it again on Saturday. Hunter amazed on both offense and defense en route to CU’s demolition of Utah on Saturday in Boulder. The proverbial Heisman Trophy frontrunner sent a loud and clear message to everyone in the nation with his performance Saturday.

And with a pose he struck too.

Of course, Hunter had to hit the famed Heisman pose on Saturday in Boulder. The Buffaloes superstar grabbed the nation’s attention by hitting the trademark pose, first adopted by Michigan legend Desmond Howard.

Hunter scored on this reverse attempt, an absurd play in its own right, and celebrated by hitting the Heisman.

His chances of winning the Heisman Trophy continue to grow with each Colorado victory. The Buffaloes have a real chance to contend for the Big 12 Championship this December. If they win out, they are likely to make it happen. That would be remarkable from where they were not too long ago.

By season’s end, Hunter will likely receive a bid to attend the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York. It’s difficult to imagine anybody else taking it from him at this point with his superb play on both sides of the field. He’s one of the most scintillating college athletes we’ve seen in a long time, so it’s been a pleasure to watch.
