UMass still had a chance of beating Hawaii on Saturday while trailing 38-35 with five seconds left and the ball at their own 45 yard line.

But instead of running a Hail Mary, the Minutemen ran a Hail Screen that gained all of three yards in UMass’ season-opening loss.

We have no idea what UMass was attempting to pull off but needless to say, it didn’t work.
