The nation’s top-ranked high school basketball recruit went viral this week after they threw down a vicious dunk.
AJ Dybantsa of Hurricane, Utah, will jump off the mat at you. The 6-foot-9 small forward has scouts raving about him, and he showed why he might be worth the hype.
Dybantsa was cleared for takeoff and launched from a ridiculous part of the floor. The nation’s top-ranked recruit soared as he took off from the free-throw line before slamming the dunk home.
He had a few other tricks up his sleeve, too.

These absurd dunks highlight a startling amount of athleticism. But for the top recruit in the nation, that’s not too surprising. Dybantsa has turned heads since he burst onto the high school basketball circuit.
The top-ranked recruit is on his third stop. He began his high school basketball career at Saint Sebastian’s School in Massachusetts. Dybantsa then transferred to the famed Prolific Prep, located in California. He then finally moved on to Hurricane Prep in Utah.
Understandably, some of the best programs in college basketball are pursuing him. Thus far, no one appears to be leading for him. But it seems like they’ll get quite a player in AJ Dybantsa. Especially if those hops improve even more.
