For college gymnast Livvy Dunne, LSU is the perfect place to be.
Dunne, a celebrated athlete from New Jersey, joined the Tigers’ gymnastics team when she enrolled at LSU several years ago. She did so at an excellent time for student-athletes because, thanks to NIL, they can now profit off their own name, image, and likeness. Dunne quickly became a significant earner in this category even while playing an Olympic, non-revenue sport at a Southeastern Conference school.
Dunne and LSU are featured in a new Amazon Prime documentary about NIL at the school. She, Flau’jae Johnson, Jayden Daniels, and others are highlighted in the film. On Wednesday, Johnson, a women’s basketball player and rapper, and Dunne spoke to SiriusXM College about her stay at LSU and how NIL has made it the perfect match for her.
“It’s a match made in heaven with LSU & NIL.”

“I think that you have to have your priorities straight to be successful. And I think that LSU is a worldwide-known brand and I just think that it’s a match made in heaven with LSU and NIL,” the LSU athlete said.
