Ohio State Buckeyes Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Ohio State has looked the part this year. The 2024 Buckeyes are out to win a National Championship this year. Two weeks in, the Buckeyes look every bit as good as experts claimed they would be.

The offense is wheeling and dealing thus far. Chip Kelly has an assortment of talent at his disposal and he’s used it to his advantage. The Buckeyes look powerful and hard to stop.

Fox’s Joel Klatt waxed poetic about the Buckeyes offense on this week’s Joel Klatt Show.

“What I’m looking at is this check-in on Chip Kelly,” Klatt said. “I’m starting to see this Chip Kelly effect. 273 rush yards and six touchdowns last week? … We have not seen that over the last few years. And in fact, that’s been the one thing that’s been hindering Ohio State more than anything. Their inability to control the game at the line of scrimmage. … So as we check in on Ohio State, you can say they haven’t played anybody. But I’m checking in on Chip Kelly. I’m checking in on that run game. And all of a sudden, that looks extremely dangerous.

“Ohio State looks extremely dangerous,” Klatt emphatically said.

The Buckeyes will get another chance to show off this weekend against the Marshall Thundering Herd. The game will kick off in Columbus at Noon Eastern.
