The Texas Longhorns have an exciting test ahead of them, not one Dan Mullen thinks they should overlook.

The ESPN analyst and former head coach is familiar with the Arkansas Razorbacks. This Saturday, they will play the third-ranked Longhorns in Fayetteville. While Arkansas is 5-4 this year, Mullen refused to count them out.

In putting the Longhorns on upset alert, Mullen also highlighted a potential X-factor for the Hogs this weekend against Texas.

“I’m gonna go with Texas because of Taylen Green and Arkansas. Arkansas already pulled a huge upset over Tennessee earlier in the year,” Mullen explained via On3. “They’ve played really good football. They have a strong defense. When you have an athlete like Taylen Green at quarterback, he can come in an dchange a game – and especially at home in an old Southwest Conference rivalry. Arkansas would love nothing more than to ruin Texas’ season. I think they have to be very careful,” Mullen warned.

Texas was rocked by the Georgia Bulldogs earlier this season. UGA’s loss to Ole Miss makes that loss look a bit worse now. It certainly puts the Longhorns in must-win situations the rest of the way. The SEC’s hullabaloo and looming tiebreaker scenarios might give everyone a headache. So, in other words, it might behoove Longhorns to just keep on winning.

We’ll see if they can avoid an ugly hiccup this weekend. Texas and Arkansas will tango at 11 a.m. local time on ABC.
