The Ohio State Buckeyes have answered every test so far this season, rolling to a 4-0 start and picking up a 38-7 win over the Michigan State Spartans to open Big Ten play.
Head coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are making the most of their do-or-die season. You could say they’re really bringing home the bacon.
Starting with this week’s game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, Ohio State fans will also be able to bring home the bacon during every home game. On Tuesday, the school announced the addition of a bacon vending machine at Ohio Stadium.

The vending machine will be located in South Stands section 39A and will be in operation immediately.
Bacon from a vending machine is undoubtedly ambitious and an out-of-the-box sporting event snack. While certain issues such as texture may come into play, as there’s no feasible way for a vending machine to make the bacon crispy, it’s still bacon.
Ohio State is no stranger to unique hot food vending machines, either. In 2019, the school debuted the Pizza ATM, a vending machine that sold hot and made-to-order pizzas in Morrell Tower.
