Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos will return to the Eagles lineup. The BC quarterback, who helped engineer their monumental win over Florida State this season, had been injured the past few weeks. But Castellanos will make his awaited return under center this weekend.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported the positive update on the BC quarterback.
“Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos will start this week at Virginia after missing the game against Western Kentucky last week with an undisclosed injury,” Thamel said on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

Castellanos has helped engineer the Eagles to their strong start. For his sake, the time on the shelf was brief and he can now return to the field. This year, he’s 729 passing yards, completed 64.3 percent of his passes, thrown 10 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
In Castellanos’ career at BC, he’s thrown for nearly 3,000 yards. The Eagles will play the Virginia Cavaliers in ACC action this weekend, this time with Castellanos aboard. We’ll see if he helps lead Boston College to yet another win.
