Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are ready for Ohio State.
Next weekend, the Ducks host the Buckeyes in a Top 10 primetime matchup at Autzen Stadium. Eugene will play host to one of the biggest college football games this regular season between two of the most talented teams in America.
Lanning and Oregon have a chance to prove something in that game. Ahead of that big matchup next weekend, Lanning joined Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday morning. The Oregon coach talked with the BNK crew about the vaunted matchup, and sent a message to Ohio State about how they’re viewing the game.
“It’s time now that we actually have to go and play this game. It’s an exciting game,” the Ducks coach said via On3.com. “Certainly for our fans, certainly from the University of Oregon, and to get to go compete against Ohio State. It’s going to be a really special one.”
Lanning is right that the time for talking is over. This game has been on everyone’s radar since the preseason. It’ll be an exciting matchup in what’s poised to be an incredible atmosphere in Eugene, Oregon.
Ohio State and Oregon will face off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern next Saturday, October 12. This premier Big Ten matchup will air on NBC.
