Fear not, college football fans: Travis Hunter is good to go.
Hunter, a two-way sensation for the Colorado Buffaloes at cornerback and wide receiver, is one of the nation’s most exciting college football players. But the gifted Hunter suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the second half of last week’s game against Kansas State.
But head coach Deion Sanders assured Colorado fans and otherwise that he’d be good to go on Saturday against Arizona.
“Travis Hunter should play for certain on Saturday,” Sanders told reporters Tuesday via ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura.

Hunter’s exciting play on both ends of the field has caused many college football fans to fawn over the past two seasons. His name is in Heisman Trophy discussions this year and with no standout at quarterback, it’s possible he’ll at least receive an invite to New York City in December. He and Ashton Jeanty have stood out amongst the pack this year as two of the most exciting and best players in the nation.
This year, the Colorado superstar has 49 receptions, 587 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns. On the other end, he has 17 tackles, 1 TFL, three passes defended, a forced fumble, and two interceptions.
The college football world reacted to the positive update on Hunter.
