Superstar Travis Hunter is good to go, says Deion Sanders.
The sensational two-way player for the Colorado Buffaloes is banged up with an apparent shoulder injury, but the former NFL great-turned-college head coach revealed Tuesday that Hunter will play against Arizona this weekend.
“Travis Hunter should play for certain on Saturday,” Sanders said via ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura.

Sanders also noted later that Jimmy Horn will also be available for the Buffaloes this weekend against the Wildcats.
Colorado is in the midst of a big turnaround season. After last year’s disappointing effort, Sanders has CU on the cusp of making a bowl game and competing for the Big 12 Championship if things keep going well. They lost this weekend, but remain in good position to keep making moves in the Big 12.
They’ll need more efforts from Hunter, who seems to have no problem giving those efforts. He’s been one of the most fantastic players in college football this season. It’s no surprise that he’s gotten so much run for the Heisman Trophy. With a wide-open field, there’s no reason not to think he could contend for and potentially win the award.
Fortunately for Hunter, the shoulder injury won’t keep him off the field much longer.
