Mike Gundy has seen a lot of things, but he probably didn’t see that cow coming.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys were forced to move their press conference to Zoom from a normal setting on Monday. Gundy explained that it was because a cow struck the Pokes’ coach.
“Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy did his weekly press conerence today over Zoom, instead of in person at BPS. Sounds like there was a good reason,” reporter Scott Pfeil said on X. Feil provided a sound byte from Gundy, who explained the absurd situation.

“Well, I had a little run-in with my cattle over the weekend,” he explained. “And I guess they’ve been watching us play. And got headbutted. So I’ve got a bad eye that I didn’t think would be particularly enjoyable for people when they were looking at my pretty face in a live interview. But more importantly, it’s full of blood and I get dizzy, so it’s not easy to be upright and be in a normal function. But other than that I’m doing great.”
Of all the things to happen, and o fall the people to have it happen to.
