Deion Sanders Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

Paul Finebaum has seen enough. To begin the week, the longtime SEC radio personality and ESPN presence went off on Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.

Sanders recently stirred up controversy at a press conference in Boulder. The Pro Football Hall of Famer drew ire from the media after refusing to answer questions from a local CBS station. Then, this week, details emerged that CU football would refuse to answer questions from a specific columnist.

This behavior led to criticism in many forms. Finebaum chose to rant on Get Up and called Sanders a “bully” and a “hypocrite” for his “disgraceful” actions towards the media.

“Coach Prime is showing he is not ready for prime time,” Finebaum said. “I find this whole thing to be disgraceful.”

Finebaum continued. “Treating reporters like this seems like we’re in some autocratic country. This is not America, and the fact that it’s in his contract, which is even more absurd. But don’t forget, he did this at Jackson State. This is a trait of Deion Sanders. He wants to have it his way, and I find him to be a bully and a hypocrite. And quite frankly, as someone who’s been a fan of his, even at Colorado, I am mortified by his actions.”

Sanders’ choice isn’t making him any new friends.
