The Boozer Twins announced their long-awaited college commitments on Friday, and to no surprise, they’re heading to Durham. The Duke Blue Devils landed Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the sons of former Blue Devil and NBA great Carlos Boozer.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, among others, reported the news of the big-time commitment.
“Five-star brothers Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer announced their commitments to Duke,” Borzello said on X. “Cameron Boozer, No. 2 in the ESPN 100, is one of the most decorated and productive prospects in modern history; three state titles and two gold medals and MVPs with USA Basketball.”

These two touted brothers have left a trail of success behind them on the high school basketball circuit. They’ve received a ton of hype over the past few seasons, all hoping to bear fruit when they arrived to college. The Boozers will play for one of the top programs in the country, so they won’t be shying away from the spotlight.
Both are Top 20 prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Cayden ranks 17th while the celebrated Cameron ranks second. They’re the first commitments for Duke in their 2025 recruiting class.
The sports world had much to say about this huge announcement.

Funny how people who follow or cover recruiting incredibly closely often seem to be the last ones to know the most obvious things.
“Duke wasn’t the likely landing spot for Cooper Flagg or the Boozer Twins.”
Pffft, c’mon.
