College GameDay will go to Cal Berkeley this weekend, and one of the greatest to wear a Cal uniform will be in attendance.
The popular ESPN show announced that Marshawn Lynch, Cal great and Super Bowl champion running back, will be the guest picker on this weekend’s episode.

The show also made a similar announcement on their X account. “There is only one man for the job,” the College GameDay account posted.

Lynch is one of Cal’s most prominent and notable football alums. He played in the early 2000s at the university before enjoying a lengthy NFL career. Lynch is most known for his run with the Seattle Seahawks, which included the famous ‘BeastQuake’ against the New Orleans Saints and the Seahawks’ Super Bowl XLVIII win over Denver.
GameDay is in the house in Berkeley for a big matchup between the Cal Golden Bears and the Miami Hurricanes, who rank inside the Top 10 currently.
